Sumitomo TYPE-37SE Fusion Splicer
The Sumitomo Type-37SE Micro-Core Alignment Fusion Splicer is a light weight, portable, fully automatic, self-contained instrument for low-loss optical fiber splices. The core alignment Type 37SE can splice SMF (singlemode fiber), MMF (multimode fiber), NZ-DSF, CSF and Er-doped Fiber (Erbium doped fiber). It can splice 80µum to 150 µm cladding diameter and 250 µm to 900 µm coating diameter. The cleave length is from 8 mm to 16 mm. The operation can be performed in as little as 11 seconds with a typical splice loss of 0.02 decibels (dB) for identical single-mode fibers.
