The TM3100 is an innovative test and measurement source solution that generates 40 wavelengths simultaneously on a single output fiber. Each wavelength is internally locked to the ITU-T grid with a channel spacing of 100 GHz. High per channel output power, compact size and stabilized wavelength and power make this new type of laser source suitable for many applications. For applications on 50 GHz spacing with 96 channels, please see  TM3050 series.
Whenever multiple wavelengths are needed to verify device or system performance, the TM3100 will provide a cost effective light source solution. From the research laboratory to the production line, with the TM3100, there is no longer a need to approximate a multi-channel signal. This unique light source has applications in WDM system verification and testing, allowing the system integrator to load the system with multiple signals characteristic of the actual system while in operation.
The TM3100 also finds applications in test and calibration of subsystems and modules that process multiple wavelengths.
Examples in this category include reconfigurable add/drop multiplexers, WDM channel monitors, dynamic gain equalizers and optical amplifiers.
