The Oprel BBS-65 is a broadband ASE light source designed for high-power spectral illumination and characterization in C-band photonic testing environments. It supports an operating wavelength range of 1528–1565 nm, delivering >65 mW output power with a 43 ± 1 nm spectral width for dependable wideband coverage. Its performance includes spectral gain flatness under ±0.7 dB and output isolation greater than 46 dB, enabling accurate and low-ripple measurements essential for optical component verification, telecom testing, and sensor interrogation.
