The Fotec Lite Test Kit is the first low cost fiber optic test kit that offers PC interfacing and simple datalogging options. The T570 includes everything needed for testing multimode or singlemode fiber optic networks and cable plants, but costs much less than any comparable product.

The Fotec Lite Kit can offer high performance with low cost by combining a Fotec Smart FO power meter which includes data acquisition features with a low cost Mini source. The Lite Kit fits between the "no frills" Mini test kits and the highly versatile, automated Smart test kits from Fotec.

The Lite Kit includes a Fotec FM300 series FO power meter which is the most advanced handheld meter available. It uses digital signal processing (DSP) to allow switching display resolution from 0.1 to 0.01 dB when higher resolution is needed. It's RS232 interface plugs into any PC and the FOtest Lite software provided can bring data from the meter into the PC for storage, formatting into reports or printing.
