The Optronic Labs OL 462 is a microprocessor-controlled calibration source controller designed for precise luminance and radiance regulation in integrating-sphere-based calibration systems. Variable low and high level radiance standards

These radiance standards are based on an integrating sphere coated with PTFE to realize a uniform illumination. The radiance (and luminance) can continuously be adjusted via a micrometer screw.

The OL 455 is a variable standard for a high radiance.The OL 462 is an equivalent to the OL 455. It is, however, automated by a microprocessor control. All standards mentioned above are equipped with a finely matched photodiode which is used a monitoring diode whose value is calibrated to luminance.
