This particular Switch/Relay Controller provides multiple 5 V drivers for JDS Uniphase optical relay switches.The instrument has a maximum of 192 output ports for the full rack and 64 for the half rack, that can be controlled locally or remotely through GPIB and RS232 interfaces.The controller sources up to 100 mA to each external device with a short circuit cutoff protection to prevent overloading.
