The WA-1100 Wavemeter optical wavelength meters is from EXFO Company. WA-1100 is designed for accurate optical wavelength measurement of continuous wave and modulated laser sources. These Wavemeter systems are being used to characterize active DWDM components and to calibrate passive DWDM components, test equipment and test stations. The WA-1100 is equiped with scanning Michelson interferometer-based wavemeter Technology to determine absolute wavelength. It has a wavelength range of 700-1650 nm (181-428 THz), an absolute accuracy of ± 1.5 pm and a display resolution of 0.001 nm. Optical power is also measured by the Exfo WA-1100. The power absolute accuracy is ± 0.5 db and the display resolution is 0.01 db.
