Agilent 81575A Optical Attenuator
The Agilent/HP 81575A is a variable optical attenuator plug-in module (single slot) for Agilent's Lightwave Multichannel Platform 8163, 8164 and 8166 series, used for attenuation and control of high-power applications. Using Fujikura PANDA 8/125 PMF optical fibers, Agilent 81575A features high power capability (+33 dBm) and excellent wavelength flatness for DWDM applications. Other standard applications include characterization of EDFAs, test of Raman amplifiers and multi channel transmission system testing. This HP81575A module comes with an PMF pigtail with SC/APC termination used for optimization of power loss when fibers are spliced into the set-up. This high resolution module (0.001 dB) has a typical return loss of 57 dB.
