Thorlabs 1530-1610 nm ASE
Thorlabs ASE-FL7002-C4 BroadBand Multichannel...
The Thorlabs ASE-FL7200 is a broadband ASE (Amplified Spontaneous Emission) source that operates in the wavelength range of 1.44 - 1.50 um. It is constructed from a singleThulium doped fluoride fiber that is optically pumped by a single laser diode.
The 1440nm-1500nm emission is produced from the 3F4 - 3H4 transition in the Tm ion in fluoride glass. This device is suitable for testing optical components related to the 1470-nm pumping of 1500-nm erbium-doped fiber amplifiers.
This Thorlabs ASE-FL7200 device is ideal for testing optical components related to the 1470-nm pumping of 1500-nm erbium-doped fiber amplifiers. Key attributes include its spectral density of >-20 dBm/nm at 1450 to 1490 nm, an output of 1.25 mW, and excellent wavelength and power stability. The output fiber is a standard SMF28 silica fiber. It also features an operating temperature range from 0 to 45 celcius degre.
