The Agilent HP 8164B is a multichannel mainframe designed to host all types of 815xx and 816xx plug-in modules by HP Agilent. The 8164B is the mid size mainframe in the 816xB product family and is the only mainframe that can host the 816xxA tunable laser sources (TLS). Suitable modules include DFB, Fabry-Perot, Attenuators, Tunable laser sources, optical power meters. On top of the large TLS, this Mainframe can host 4 single slot modules. It can be remote controlled by GPIB.
